Remote Desktop Management

Many system administration and technical support tasks can be performed directly on your PCs and servers without the presence of an on-site technician being necessary.

In 2003, 71% of all BCN technical support requests could have been resolved using remote desktop management. No on-site service necessary! This number does not include web hosting or site maintenance requests.

  • Scheduled system maintenance such as software & virus definition updates, backup processes, etc. can be done in a more timely fashion keeping your systems out of harm's way.

Setup
Setup of this service requires installation of software on each PC and server computer that needs to be made accessible. Firewall configuration changes may also need be made to allow incoming packets on certain ports to come through.

Pricing
Remote desktop management services no longer carry any additional monthly fees as of February 1, 2004. They are now included with all telepone and on-site technical support contracts. Rates can be found on our service rates page.
